Embrace the abrasion

Do you want any easy, cruisey, expected, common life? Then surround yourself with people that agree with you. Or if you’re looking to achieve something remarkable – in life, business or in a relationship – then challenge yourself. Embrace the abrasion.

There will be guaranteed tough times, tense conversations, frustrations and so on, but the produce of these moments is the good stuff. Unfortunately we often opt for the simple path with as little abrasion as possible and miss out on the opportunity to produce polished gems, unique ideas and really special relationships.

It’s not about being surrounded by difficult people (no thanks!) It’s crucially important to surround yourself with people that have the same vision but are willing and open to bring a different point of view, experience or expertise within that.

If everybody agrees, then nobody is thinking. Embrace the abrasion.
