We’ve worked with Compassion in different capacities for almost a decade and we wholeheartedly support them in their mission to release children from poverty through their sponsorship program. Let’s look to the future together with Grocon’s The Ribbon

Our long-standing clients at Grocon asked us to partner with them on their exciting project 'The Ribbon' a while back and we have since been a part of developing the visual identity, designing and printing the construction site's hoarding and creating their website to serve their needs. The Ribbon is a breathtaking new development set to transform Sydney's skyline and form an extraordinary new gateway to the western side of the city's CBD.

Broadening the scope of ideas

Finding ways to keep our team thinking creatively is the fun part of my role here at Mezzanine. I recently implemented ‘random objects’ for use as a trigger – to create associations and connections in our subconscious, which help bring about fresh, new ideas to a challenge. The team are given 15 minutes to right down as many ideas as possible – the resulting ideas don't have to be directly associated with the objects, so the exciting thing is to see where the chosen object takes them in their imagination!

Pursuing something more than just the ol’ 9–5 at Sydney’s NewCo Business Festival

The way that NewCo works as a business festival is that you plan your schedule on their mobile phone app and travel between each office space to sit in on a design thinking workshop, strategy session or receive a sizeable dose of inside knowledge with their respective business leader. What's different about these select companies is that they are intentionally harnessing their true and higher purpose which leads into creating positive change in our world – we're pretty excited that more and more businesses are pursuing something more than just the ol' 9–5.
